car events are a great excuse to really polish your car and park in a field with lots of similar cars.
but that should not really be the point.
the events will attract people with seemingly only one thing in common – a type of car.
we say, if you have the car, give the events a chance and go to meet the people.
chances are that you could have a great time.
be careful however regarding the exact type of event to avoid turning up to a hot hatch lad’s gig in your graceful classic duchess.
you should experience a great community feel, plus you can check out different models and funky accessories which you may not have seen before.
as with other car events, they range from a meet at a pub to a full blown weekend with onsite events. be sure to check that your car age group is well represented or maybe just turn up!

very cool place. a real 1950s car café which is large enough for live music. every second tuesday of the month there is an evening car meet. some owners have been known to fly their cars in from abroad. we suggest you check the ace website before travelling.
