venue selection is, in our opinion just as important as artist choice.
it maybe that you have seen an artist for free in an open air concert or in a bar.
a professional concert venue however, even if you now have to shell out for tickets will be a different experience with an improved sound system, venue acoustics and an audience primarily silent who have planned to be there!.
the most crucial factor however, in our experience, is the attitude of the artist to the venue.
consider the difference between a nec birmingham performance and a one off gig at the southbank royal festival hall.
we would suggest that the nec has it’s place, but the potential peer group and media pressure at the southbank is likely to make that gig more meaningful for the artist and thus more memorable for you
we have included a mix of small and sizeable venues, but all should see artists pushing the limit and giving memorable performances
wigmore hall is one of the more hidden treasures of london. opened in 1901 it has a fascinating history and has over 400 concerts a year focusing on classical but also including jazz. former gigs have included des'ree in a jazz set and artists such as joshua redman and brad mehldau are featured.
